KV5 Wallet ("the App") is published by Second Chance Digital, LLC ("we," "us," "our"). This policy explains what information the App handles and, just as importantly, what it does not.
KV5 Wallet is a non-custodial cryptocurrency wallet. Your private keys and recovery phrase are generated and stored only on your own device. We never receive, see, transmit, or have any ability to access your keys, recovery phrase, or funds. There is no account to create, no server-side user database, and no way for us to recover funds on your behalf if a recovery phrase is lost.
To check balances, retrieve transaction history, and broadcast transactions, the App connects over an encrypted (TLS) connection to a KV5 network server. This is a functional requirement of any cryptocurrency wallet — the App cannot show your balance or send a transaction without querying the network. As with any blockchain wallet using this protocol, that server can observe which addresses/scripts the App queries and when, which may allow it to infer wallet activity. We do not operate an analytics service, do not embed advertising SDKs, and do not sell or share any data with third parties for marketing purposes.
Because this App is non-custodial, safeguarding your recovery phrase is solely your responsibility. If it is lost, stolen, or shared with someone else, we have no way to recover your funds or reverse any transaction.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this same URL with a revised "Last updated" date.
